TAIWAN's TS Lines' ship, the 1,000-TEU ER Riga vessel recently called at the Tianjin's Port Alliance International Container Terminal, at the start of a new container shipping service connecting Tianjin and Hong Kong.

Xinhua's report said this is the 11th container shipping service launched at the Port of Tianjin this year. Two ships of 1,000-TEU have been deployed on the lane, which offers one sailing per week and calls at Hong Kong and Incheon. The service arrives at Tianjin every Thursday and leaves on Friday.



The report said the new service strengthens the Tianjin's network covering South East Asia, and will give solid support to the port's accomplishment of this year's throughput target.
